SUMMARY:Community-Powered Differentiation: Coaching, Consulting, and Collaborating in and Beyond the Classroom
DESCRIPTION:\nGuest Speaker: Sarah Pack\n\n\n\nThis webinar introduces three learning focused interaction modes—coaching, consulting, and collaborating—and shows educators how to use each one intentionally when bringing community members and Junior Achievement volunteers into the classroom. Participants will learn how coaching supports inquiry for students who need more scaffolding, how consulting provides targeted expertise for students who need additional clarity or challenge, and how collaborating invites students of all skill levels into shared problem solving. We’ll demonstrate how these modes can be applied with Junior Achievement volunteer experiences—such as career guest speakers, project mentors, and program facilitators—to differentiate learning in mixed ability classrooms and ensure every student can engage meaningfully. Attendees will receive simple prompts, role guides, and planning tools for aligning volunteer interactions to diverse student needs. focused interaction modes—coaching, consulting, and collaborating—and shows educators how to use each one intentionally when bringing community members and Junior Achievement volunteers into the classroom.
