A Rhombus of Support – Designing Services for Students
Amy Phillips Phillips October 21, 2021
Speakers: Jenn Flo and Tammie Jensen-Tabor
Students come to school having a wide range of needs, opportunities, and experiences. All learners deserve and require a school experience that allows them to make continuous progress in school. Programming opportunities for students can include classroom support (differentiation), pull-together enrichment opportunities, and acceleration – just to name a few. Using a multi-tiered system of support can be helpful in understanding what interventions may be successful with students and their needs. In this session, we’ll share some opportunities and challenges of building a tiered system of support and share some of the initial steps one Washington district is making.
