Architecting a Gifted Child’s Learning Brain

Guest Speaker: Kieran O’Mahony, Ph.D., FRGS

Though all brains have immense potential, not all learners’ brains come in at the same time or in the same way. Genetic and epigenetic factors, which the parent and the teacher can influence make a very important contribution. In this workshop, we will co-create outcomes that my team of learning scientists have delivered, and which have appeared in peer-reviewed published papers already this year. The first paper, IT’S NOT MAGIC, IT’S SCIENCE is acclaimed at the India Institute of Education in Pune, 2024. The most recent paper, INTENTIONALITY, PYGMALION, AND COGNITIVE FUN REDIRECTS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHILDREN IN PULL-OUT NEURAL ENRICHMENT is being showcased at the 8th International Conference on Teaching Learning and Education in Dublin 2024.
