Executive Director

I’m not a gifted education teacher.  In fact, I’m not in the education field at all.  I have been unofficially idenitified as “gifted” by three consecutive WAETAG Presidents and I’m still trying to figure out exactly what that means.  Over the years I’ve had several “ah ha” moments in board meetings and conferences as I’ve learned more about what gifted means and the unique needs and indiosycrinicities that come with it.  I may not know all the latest pedagogies, but my eyes have been opened to the importance of empowering educators as they guide our children into being their best selves.  This is what inspire me about working with WAETAG.

My background is in program and project management.  I moved into non-profit and association management in 2013.
