Karen Fradley brings a wealth of experience in gifted education from her years teaching in St. Petersburg, Florida. As a former Advocacy Chair of the Florida Association for the Gifted, she established the annual Gifted Education Awareness Week, presented the “State of the State in Gifted Education” at Legislative Day events advocating for legislation to support gifted children and families around the state, and coordinated the parent roundtable event at the annual FLAG and NAGC conferences held in Florida. Karen has held a variety of roles in special education, including gifted, providing a variety of lenses through which to learn and lead. She’s dedicated to raising rigor for all students, including those who are gifted and talented.
