Guest Speaker: April Drake

This webinar will focus on how to create and implement interactive notebooks in the virtual or hybrid classroom setting to promote engagement, differentiation and immediate feedback. The session will provide ideas for Math, ELA, Social Studies, and Science focused on the elementary and middle school standards. Participants will need a Gmail/Google G-Suite account as editable templates will be provided through Google Classrooms and Slides.

The Washington Association of Educators of the Talented and Gifted (WAETAG) is a non-profit 501(c)3 Washington state organization. We were established in 1982 to support the education of gifted and talented persons by empowering our educators. WAETAG is the cornerstone of three organizations whose main purpose is supporting gifted education in Washington state. Together with the Northwest Gifted Child Association, which provides support for parents, and the Washington Coalition for Gifted Education, our advocacy and legislative arm, we offer a three-tiered approach to accomplishing our vision of a world where all students are recognized, respected and passionately supported for their unique needs, talents, and gifts.
