Supports for Staff, Students, and Families

Wendy Clark · February 6, 2023

Speakers: Wendy Clark, Verlaine Meyers, and Deidra McCollum

While not specifically required under our current WACs, it is well known that establishing individualized learning plans for highly capable students is considered best practice. We will show participants the kinds of information that can and should be collected for these plans in order to create a manageable document that benefits all stakeholders; students, teachers, coordinators, and families. We will cover plan components such as interest inventories, individualized goal setting, ongoing data collection to demonstrate growth, and identification data.
