About Instructor

The Washington Association of Educators of the Talented and Gifted (WAETAG) is a non-profit 501(c)3 Washington state organization. We were established in 1982 to support the education of gifted and talented persons by empowering our educators. WAETAG is the cornerstone of three organizations whose main purpose is supporting gifted education in Washington state. Together with the Northwest Gifted Child Association, which provides support for parents, and the Washington Coalition for Gifted Education, our advocacy and legislative arm, we offer a three-tiered approach to accomplishing our vision of a world where all students are recognized, respected and passionately supported for their unique needs, talents, and gifts. Our Mission: To empower educators and communities to support the educational and social emotional development of talented and gifted students.
