July - September Theme: Differentiation

All educators want to differentiate to meet student needs. And when it comes to gifted and 2E students whose needs from subject to subject can vary widely, meaningful differentiation can be especially tricky. Seabury School, an independent school for gifted kids in grades preK – 8 in Tacoma, WA has a program that is focused on meeting the unique needs of its unique students. In this very practical webinar, Sandi Wollum, head of school; Ruth Maitlen, director of curriculum and instruction; and Jared McKenzie, middle school math/science teacher, will share practical, manageable strategies they use to effectively differentiate for a wide range of learners. Sandi, Ruth and Jared have all faced the challenges you have face. Over the years, the have found tips and tricks that have made meeting the needs of their kids much more doable. Join us – and share some of your own tips and tricks as well.
