Self-Discovery and Self-Advocacy for HiCap Students
The middle grades can be especially vulnerable and decisive years. This course will introduce ways to help highly capable students look internally to recognize their individual strengths, struggles, and needs. Using that knowledge they will set personalized goals for their Advanced Learning Plan, and also learn self-advocacy skills to help ensure their needs are being met. Ways to adjust for younger or older students also be presented.
