Many districts have resources and guidance on the programs and services available to stakeholders through the policies and procedures (2190 Series) that are available on most districts’ websites. In addition, some districts have handbooks that can provide additional information for educator teams on the full array of services available to students.
Several years ago, the Robinson Center for Young Scholars at the University of Washington produced a template of a handbook that is an excellent tool for looking at services; as well as helping to guide questions you might have about district services. The document can be downloaded and adapted by individual districts.
